Rock & roll is a part of the Canadian identity; many of the form’s greatest practitioners have had maple-filled donuts for hearts. And to honour this fact we have a Canada Day Surprise planned. So check back here tomorrow, or follow us on Twitter or Myspace or Facebook, and maybe you’ll be ‘in’ on the Storma-gossip!

The Stormalongs @ G20 Protests, June 26, 2010, Toronto
The Stormalongs walked in solidarity with the G20 Labour Protests on June 26, 2010 in Toronto, Canada. This is what we heard and saw.
There was violence and destruction of property at these protests, but we only heard about it. The vast majority of the protesters were not using violence to get their messages across. Thousands of people turned out and demonstrated peacefully and in a very well-organized manner. The media will spin these events a hundred different ways or more, but the truth is that democracy and freedom were well-served here today.
Summer Shows
We have a couple of shows coming up this summer, and we are hoping to add more around our upcoming trip (our first) to Ottawa, ON, a city that has been kind to members of The Stormalongs over the years. We are, as always, very excited to bring the new songs out of incubation and unleash our new record on naked ears everywhere!
JULY 31- The Horseshoe Tavern, Toronto (368 Queen St. W)
AUGUST 21- Cafe Dekcuf, Ottawa (221 Rideau Street)
- with The MudPlots, Tungda Browne, The Uncles
